The Freeway Story

This Could Be Your Story. . .
The Freeway story was birthed in the life experiences of Joseph Cutler. Joe's story is not dissimilar to countless others. Highs that, at times, were unpredictable and lows that were horrifying and unexpected.

Joe began working in network marketing in the late 1970's. Soon all his goals and dreams were shattered. Destroyed by the realities of a cold business world that was only concerned with the bottom line, Joe felt like a failure and his sponsors reinforced the losing image that was developing in his mind.

We're sure many of you can relate to that feeling. The one that causes sleepless nights. That little voice that begins to whisper doubt. The breeding ground for hopelessness was being prepared.

For the next two decades Joe did what millions of others do to this day... he pursued success as a destination. However, success is NOT a destination.

Success Is A Journey. . .
Over time, Joe discovered that success is nothing but a mirage on the horizon, if it is left as a destination. But, what if success was a journey? What if true success was found in the pursuit of a dream? What if the mythical pot of gold was actually the accumulation of coins picked up along the pathway of the rainbow? Chances are the journey would be enjoyed a whole lot more.

Maybe the years that he thought were wasted could be viewed differently. Perhaps what he considered failures were, in fact, steps of success toward ultimate fulfillment. A new perspective of the journey unfolded and it was time to reattach to the dreams of a day gone by.

Tragedy Comes Without An Appointment. . .
An all-too-real part of all of our lives is that trouble does come. At times, it can be tragic. Joe and his family were about to walk through a deep valley. One without escape. While his business was beginning to grow and prosper, the Cutler's youngest daughter, Kailyn, was diagnosed with leukemia. This cancer of the bloodstream eventually took its toll. Kailyn went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, December 2, 1996.

But life does not take a time out. The bills still come in the mail. Bank notes still need to be paid. Groceries still need to be bought. Throughout the painful and difficult times of Kailyn's illness life was relentless. It always is. But something was different for the Cutler's.

The Valleys Produce The Growth. . .
A fact of farming is that crops don't grow on a mountain. They grow in the fertile ground of the valley. It seems that life offers this same principle. In the dark soil of personal trial can come the glorious fruit of provision. The Freeway System was forged in the heat of heartbreak. It is the idea that a foundation can be laid to provide provision regardless of what life may send. The Freeway System is not limited to making more money, it is about helping people find joy and fulfillment in business and in life.
